big wheels

went to lebanon on my 29er this morning. here are my thoughts in no particular order: big wheels give you more traction and roll over stuff better. i was still able to turn. acceleration was not hindered either. the only downside i noticed was a significant loss in flickability. other things about my new bike but not specifically related to 29ers: wtb silverado is my new favorite saddle. 34 18 is to big. i will need a bigger rear cog. since i already smashed my chain on a rock i may as well switch to a 3/32 drive train, better get a bashguard while i am at it. the moral of the stroy is twenty niners ftw. so long instigator.
